this is an old piece reworked a little.
I actually added color.

IM CURRENTLY wORKING ON ONE OF THE MOST DETAILED PIECES IVE EVER DONE.
damn caps lock.
but I dont get much time to work on it as I am not currently a proffessional artist and thus have dreary mundane work to do for a living which leaves me beat most days.
Im hoping to have some new stuff up for x mass tho.

I cut my self on the car door by the way, and got a bit of blood on the original, Im trying to figure out how to work it in as part of the drawing. lol.

ah, but unfortunately I dont actually enjoy what I do all that much. really.
Ive had some terrible life experiences and a few of them centered around my art. I stopped drawing for 12 yrs.
only got back into it a year ago now.
So, it left a bad taste in my mouth to the extent that just picking up a pencils fills me with dread and frustration, and feels more like a chore or a minor punishment.
Yes, its all in my head, but thats unfortunately where my art is too.
so, I am working on that.
One day at a time.

Woah, that's epic! What mediums did you use?

Wait wait wait, monochrome color blind? So you can only see shades of black and white? :?

correct.
I used Ink, red water color pencil crayon, and graphic white wash -diluted, for the smoke, with a brush.

And awesome and amazing...

BTW, guess who else can't see red...

But I lack a receptor.

We're a pair...two peas...one pod, of red color blindness. :D

Im monochrome rod. All grey.
But, with a curious knack for identifying colors by thier tones and shades none the less.
more than 60% correct on most guess's.

Rad. Sorry, I misread, I'm apparently unable to read today...I'm just color blind to red...like a stop sign is just a white octagon to me...and if you put a red thing on something else, I have a hell of a time finding it. I've lived with it my whole life...so...it makes no difference to me, but it floors most other people.

Artists are usually a little better at educated guesses concerning color/shade and color blindness. I've know rediculous amounts of people who did awesome art with amazing color and they are color blind as they come. You...are just another contributor to my theory of madness.

I didnt know I was color blind till I was 22 yrs old. haha.
I thought the different shades and tones of grey WERE what people called colors, and so i tried extra hard to identify them.
I could never figure out why other people were SO damn good at identifying the greys till I went to college and was taking color theory.
lol.

I didn't know until I took my driver's test and you have to pick this little red dot out and tell them if it is IN or OUT of the box...I was like, what red dot? And everyone was like, gasp, omg! I had to go to the eye doctor before they would certify my license. He was like, you see fine, just colorblind because you lack that receptor. So I can now drive, yay! Every other color as far as I know appears as it should...but how do you really ever know...I think we all percieve things completely different.

Im not sure what yer refering too hun.
I used brush and wash for the entire thing.
the candle smoke was graphic white wash. the glow was white pencil crayon.
the lighter shaded lines was just diluted ink wash.

what more can ah say?
Hugz.

oh yeah. lets see MORE works from Youz, hmm?
Gimme a shout when you get some new stuff ups, K?
